Detailed Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival at IGI Airport, Delhi
On arrival to Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, our
representatives will greet you. They will escort you to Delhi's Domestic
Airport for connecting flight to Baghdogra. Located in the state of Sikkim,
Baghdogra has the sole airport of the state.
Day 01: Baghdogra -Darjeeling (94 km / 3hrs)
On reaching Baghdogra, our representatives will transfer you to the hotel.
The staff of this hotel will give you a warm welcome. Arrive Bagdogra and
transfer to Darjeeling, which is just 3hrs drive from Baghdogra. Check-in to
Darjeeling hotel for dinner and good sleep.
Day 02: Darjeeling
On day 2, wake up early to view the spectacular sun rise from Tiger Hill.
The early sun rays which falls on the glistening peak of Mt. Kanchenjumga,
looks really awesome from this place, which is just 15 km from the town.
After this we will return back to our hotel for some heavy breakfast. On the
way to hotel, we will visit Ghoom Monastery and Natasha Loop War Memorial.
Thereafter completion of breakfast, we will start our sightseeing trip to
Darjeeling. Our trip to this beautiful town includes places like Ava Art
Gallery, Peace Pagoda, Observatory Hill, Mahakal temple, Dhirdham temple,
Himalayan Mountaineering Institute . Darjeeling is also dotted with some
beautiful gardens and wildlife sanctuaries such as Botanical garden,
Nightingale Park, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Rock Garden and
Ganga Maya Park etc.
After sightseeing trip to Darjeeling, we will usher you two exciting rides
available in the town. One the famous toy train ride and another cable car
ride which joins Darjeeling to Singla Bazaar. After such hectic day, return
to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03: Darjeeling - Gangtok (114 Kms/ 5hrs)
Morning after breakfast, you will be transfer to Gangtok en-route visit
Teesta river. Don't forget to indulge yourself in White water rafting while
your journey to Gangtok. White water Rafting from Tarkhola near Teesta river
is of great adventure. Checkin to Gangtok hotel for a delicious dinner and
night stay.
Day 04: Gangtok Sightseeing
Day 4, after breakfast we will begin our full day sight seeing trip to
Gangtok covering Chortan, Stupa, Institute of Tibetology Institute of
Handicraft and handlooms & Roomtek Monastery. Visit the Buddhist
monasteries and pay your homage to Lord Buddha. Return to hotel for night
meal and good sleep.
Day 05: Excursion Trip To Tshongu Lake
Next morning, wake up early and proceed for a half day trip to Tshongu lake
(12400ft). This tranquil lake is just 32 kms from Gangtok City. Evening free
for shopping. By evening return to hotel and pack your luggage.
Day 06: Gangtok - Bagdogra(Departure 115kms / 4.5 hrs)
Transfer to Bagdogra Airport, to board the onward flight.
