In a relatively short span of time Delhi to Manali package attempts to cover significant and varied destinations. Whereas Chandigarh is more of a modern city, Manali is laden with natural beauty. The third destination of this Manali Trip takes you to Dharashala - the Tibetan Buddhist centre in India where the Holy Dalai Lama resides and practises Buddhism along with his followers. Dharamshala is more of a cultural delight.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 01: Delhi – Chandigarh
We welcome your arrival in Delhi. This is the capital city of India and the place where our Namaste! And heartiest welcome to the country where the general belief is - “Atithi devo Bhava” or “Guest is God'”. Our representatives will meet you at the airport and escort you to the car that will take you to Chandigarh, 250 kms away from India's capital city. A six hour drive will bring you to Chandigarh. Check into your hotel.

In the evening, visit the famous Rock Garden of Chandigarh. Return to your hotel and have dinner. Stay overnight in hotel.


Day 02: Chandigarh - Manali
Today, after breakfast, proceed to the destination that is the highlight of the trip – Manali. Manali lies in Himachal Pradesh and is a pristine hill station with beautiful natural views. The journey to Manali will take you around 8 hours.

Check into your hotel and have dinner. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 03: Manali
Today, on your Manali trip you will explore the well known attractions of the hill station. Amongst the one that you will visit today are Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Tibetan Monastery and Vashisht Village.

After so much of exploration, you can do as you please in the afternoon. Either you can relax and rejuvenate your body for the trip next day or go around and have a look at the nearby places – the choice is completely yours.

Day 04: Manali
Wake up to a refreshing morning on your Manali trip. Today, post breakfast, we will yet again kick start our exploration of Manali. Visit Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi, Rohtang Pass and Sollang Valley. Rohtang Pass is a mountain pass on the eastern Pir Pinjal range of the Himalayas. Incase the Rohtang pass is not open, we will drive till Snowline and return back to our hotel from there.

Day 05: Manali - Dharamshala
A new journey begins today as you drive to Dharamshala – the Tibetan Buddhist stronghold in India. The drive will cover 240 kms and take you around seven hours to complet the journey.

Dharamshala is divided into Upper Dharamshala and Lower Dharamshala. The Upper Dharamshala or Mc Leodganj is where the Tibetan Buddhist spiritual head – His highness the Holy Dalai lama resides with his followers. Explore Buddhist culture and heritage at lower Dharamshala before returning to your hotel.

Dinner and overnight stay in Dharamshala

Day 06 : Dharamshala
The final day of your Manali trip will take you on an exploration of the Upper Dharamshala – Mc Leodganj. Visit the monasteries, temples and bazaars here.

In the evening, return to your hotel. Have your dinner and stay overnight.

Day 07 : Depart Dharamshala - Delhi
Depart for Delhi today. Your Manali trip comes to an end today.
